My late father Gamini Kohona was a Tea Planter in Sri Lanka. Quite naturally, we grew up learning & loving Pure Ceylon Tea. So much, that we, his children, chose a career in the industry as Tea Tasters.
With an experience of nearly three decades and having retired from active tea planting, my father decided that it was fitting he used his vast knowledge of tea manufacturing and continue to service the tea drinkers worldwide. PULATISI EXPORTS PVT LTD was formed in the year 2003.
Fifteen years later we have taken the initiative to take his legacy forward and launched our own products in Australia as Tea&Ko. in 2018.
Tea&Ko is our own range of tea products loved and carefully selected by the Kohona family with our unique expertise in tea and tea growing regions of Sri Lanka.
We believe that every cuppa should be as refreshing as it was for us when we had it fresh in the plantations. Which is why we source ours straight from the plantations in small batches. We pride in selecting and sourcing the premium quality tea and yet offer it at an affordable price.
